Toilet, Bath & Basin Restoration
Over time, toilets, baths and basins can end up with a build up of minerals and chemicals that are both unsightly and difficult to remove.
It's important to know that most of the time when porcelain ends up with staining, it's not because of any issues with your cleaning regimes, but rather owing to the impact of hard water on your porcelain.
Hard water is water that is high in mineral salts such as calcium, magnesium, iron and lime. Mineral salts have a tendency to attach to surfaces they come into contact with.

How Often Are Restorations Required?
How often restorations are required depends on how heavily you use your appliances, what chemicals you use (including in-cistern cleaning blocks and in-toilet hanging cleaners), and especially how hard your water is. We will be happy to suggest a timeframe when we provide a quotation. You can choose from the following popular options, or chat to us about another timeframe that you would prefer.

What Type Of Restorations Do We Provide?
Toilet Bowl Restorations
Restorations of toilet bowls are performed by initially cleaning the top of the toilet bowl and removing chemical build up, staining and marks from within the toilet bowl, including any ring formed at the water level.
Following this, we remove the chemical build up from within the "U" below the water level, and give your toilet a standard clean.
Cracks and damage to the toilet cannot be repaired by the Paragon team, however the toilet seat and/or hinges can be replaced by prior arrangement.
Basin Restorations
As with toilets, staining in basins is often a result of salt minerals building up on the surface and around taps, mixers and plugs.
The restoration of hand basins involves the removal of residue and build up on the surface of the basin, around the outlet and the base of taps. Following this, the outlet, plugs (if applicable) and taps are polished.
Existing corrosion on fittings and damage to the basin cannot be repaired by our team, however the replacement of damaged or dirty silicone seals can be done if required.
Bath Restorations
Baths become stained for the same reasons as above. The same process as for basins is followed to restore baths.
