How Often Are Cleans Performed?

How often cleans are performed depends entirely on you, what area you live in (how hard the water is), how regularly your shower is given a good scrub, whether you dry your shower after every use or not, and whether or not you have your glass treated.

You can choose from the following popular options, or chat to us about another timeframe that you would prefer.​

What Is Included In Shower Restorations?

We provide a variety of services for you to choose from. We will provide you with a suggestion as to which option we feel would be best for your home / business, but it will be up to you to decide what to include. ​

​Option 1 - COMPLETE RESTORATION plus glass treatment

• The removal of dirt and chemical build up from the glass as best as possible. It is unfortunately not always possible to remove all marks from the glass and residue may be seen from certain angles. Scratches on the glass cannot be removed.

• Removal of build up and mould from the walls of the shower.

• Removal of build up and mould from the floor of the shower.

• Polishing of taps and fixtures. This will remove residues and build up but will not remove corrosion.

• Giving the entire shower a final clean so it is left shining and looking its best.

• Finally, the glass is treated with nanotechnology to prevent a build up of chemicals and subsequent etching of glass. This is particularly important to keep your investment, especially new glass, looking top-notch for as long as possible.  

• NOTE: Silicone impregnated with mould and staining will not come clean and will need to be replaced. The replacement of door seals, silicone sealant, hinges, handles and fittings and grout restoration can be done at an additional cost by prior arrangement. Any work requiring a plumber cannot be undertaken but can be arranged if required. We do not take responsibility for damage to old and brittle door seals or fittings

When deciding to have us come in more than once-off, we would suggest that your first session is a complete restoration, and the following few cleans are touch-ups, depending on how your shower deteriorates over time.

For example, when having a 6-monthly restoration:

Month 1 : Complete Restoration and Glass Treatment

Month 6 : Restoration of walls, floor, taps & fixtures

Month 12 : Restoration of walls, floor, taps & fixtures

At each restoration subsequent to the first one, we would check things such as any buildup on the glass (indicating a deterioration of the glass treatment which would need to be touched up), issues with grouting/silicone/seals etc for which we would then make recommendations for a plan of action.
